Have a wonderful Easter everybody!

Easter Parade
Just to top off an already action packed day after our Cross Country in the morning, we decided it would be a good idea to have an Easter Parade. Children and proud parents braved the cold wind to share the Easter cheer whilst also sharing some Easter craft.

Have a great Easter break everybody. Thanks for a wonderful first term!

Wow! What a day!

Cross Country
We saw wonderful Personal Best efforts from all Grade 1 children at our Cross Country on 26th March. Only 8 children got ribbons, but everyone was a winner!

1R Highlights Package

Assembly
1R was the first grade to represent the Grade 1s at assembly. They did a magnificent job, with their buddies 3/4C, in presenting a song about one of our Catch Cries - Difference Makes Us Unique.
Clever Miss Rankin made the song up all by herself, and some awesome singers, dancers and actors helped to make it AMAZING!!!
Well done, Miss Rankin and 1R (and buddies!). Yours is a very hard act to follow!

A Special Visitor
1R had a friendly ferret come and play!

Setting Up for Success
Can you pick the on task readers and the off task readers? Oh dear, someone has even fallen asleep! That's probably on task if it's a bedtime story!

Connecting with Lara Secondary College
Students from a Year 10 Drama class came to talk to us about the story of 'The Ugly Duckling'. They are writing and performing in their own play of this story for us. We look forward to seeing it next term.

So, that's Term 1 in a nutshell!
